Jackie's Family Child Care and Preschool is, as the name implies, a family run child care and preschool that has served the Santa Clarita Valley for over 20 years. The Child Care/Preschool is run out of her home and thus can provides a higher teacher to student ratio than most Montessori's can provide.

THE JOB

In the past Jackie's Family Child Care and Preschool relied on word of mouth in order to get clients. However, in 2018 leads from the new generation of parents are reliant on having a strong internet presence. This was something that they foresaw and so they approached us with the job. Similarly to P.A.W.S. their funding was very tight and she couldn't afford the price at which much of the competition charges. This, of course, was easy for us to accommodate.

THE GOALS

The website had to fulfill four majors areas:

  1. have a daycare aesthetic while still looking modern and sleek.
  2. employ dynamic web design so that it looks good regardless of what device the user is using.
  3. be easy for the client update with new content.
  4. give potential customers clear and concise information and instructions in how to contact them or find their location.

THE RESULT

  • Scrolling through their website was meticulously designed to mirror the mindset of a potential client.
  • Clean, simple, cute, and affordable.
  • The website maintains a pleasant aesthetic on a multitude of devices and resolutions
  • Updating their carouselwith new pictures  is just as easy as adding photos to a Facebook page.
